Apprenticeships through Norristown Tattoo Company require a contract, as well as a fee to maintain enrollment. The fees are as follows:

  • Standard Tattoo Apprenticeship (3 years):

    • $8,000 ($2,500 first year, $2,500 second year, $3,000 final year)

  • Accelerated Knowledge and Skills Training (18 months):

    • $3,500

  • Tattoo & Piercing Apprenticeship (4 years):

    • $10,000 ($2,500 per year)

  • Piercing and Body Mod Apprenticeship (2 years):

    • $4,500

The reason for the fees and contracts are that many individuals start apprenticeships, stopping and resuming sporadically. Unfortunately this burdens the mentor with interrupting the flow of business, imparting sacred wisdom, and adjusting to accommodate the needs of a new learner. Always look at a tattoo apprenticeship like college or an investment in your future. You are expected to complete tasks as necessary while learning a set of skills that can be monetized for the rest of your lifetime and shared with others. Employment:

At Norristown Tattoo company, we apply a booth rental fee if you are seeking employment. You must make a deposit in addition to paying the current month’s fee. The deposit fee is equal to one month of booth rental. You are able to take some walk-ins on and able to bring your own clients. Normal stock is provided, such as barrier related items, furniture, PPE, and medical tools. (Note: After you pay your monthly fee, there are no percentages taken. If you choose to pay percentage, the cut is 60/40 (artist/shop) after a $500 per week fee.)

  • Booth fee tattoos only:

    • $4,500 per month

  • Booth fee tattoos and piercings:

    • $7,500 per month
